A Toyota was traveling down Wading River Manor Road when it struck a utility pole and overturned, police said.

A woman escaped injury this morning after her car overturned in Wading River.

A Toyota was traveling down Wading River Manor Road at around 12:40 a.m. when it struck a utility pole, according to police. The pole snapped and the vehicle overturned into a wooded area.

The female driver of the car was uninjured, police said.

PSEG responded to the scene of the accident. Police temporarily closed the road from the time of the accident until around 3:15 a.m.
