Veronica Harris of Calverton died at her home on April 22, 2016. She was 76 years old.
She was born December 27, 1939 to Wister and Estelle (Brown) Rollins.
She graduated from Riverhead High School in 1957. She enjoyed life as a homemaker and was active in her church.
Predeceased by her husband George and her sisters Carol Hughes and June Boyce, she is survived by her children Renee Harris-Thompson of East Yaphank and Ryan of Riverhead, her sisters Jennifer Johnson of Calverton and Rhonda Roberts-Brown of Riverhead.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A service is planned for 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
