A Manorville man was critically injured in Farmingville this morning after his car veered off the road and struck a fence and tree.
John Moretti, 30, was driving a 2006 BMW eastbound on Horseblock Road in Farmingville when he apparently lost control of his vehicle, crossed over the westbound lanes and crashed into a fence and tree at around 10:05 a.m.
Moretti was transported by Farmingville Rescue to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
