Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps had a great turnout at this year’s open house on Sunday afternoon.
The corps hosted Narcan training classes throughout the event and also provided hands-free CPR lessons. There were information tables by local community groups and tours of RVAC ambulance rigs, along with free hot dogs, soda, Italian ices and cotton candy.
“The weather was great and we had a nice turnout,” said Assistant Chief Rod Richardson. “It was a lot of fun. Everyone had a great time.”
RVAC hosts an open house on Sunday after National EMS Week, the second week in May each year.
