The Town of Southampton’s Youth Bureau is currently taking registrations for Chess Club. Chess teaches youth how to manage skills, control impulses, delay gratification, and reduce stress. Learning chess can help build self-confidence, gain a sense of community, and learn fair play.

Classes will be held from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. at the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Road on Wednesdays starting July 6.

Although the program is free, pre-registration is strongly recommended.
