Riverhead Townscape’s Friday Night Concert Series will kick off tomorrow night in Grangebel Park.
The series, named in memory of former councilman Jim Lull, who organized and coordinated the concerts each summer, begins with The Chiclettes performing favorites from the 60s and 70s.
The free concerts, which begin at 7 p.m. every Friday, will continue through Aug. 26. Bring a chair or blanket.
There’s plenty of free parking in the municipal lot next to Griffing Hardware on West Main Street.

July 8: The Chiclettes – 60s and 70s
July 15: Sugar and Spice – Motown
July 22: NY Exceptions – 50s
July 29: Long Island Sound Symphony Orchestra – Classical
Aug. 5: Larry Liso – Ballads
Aug. 12: Steel Silk Band – 60s thru today **
Aug. 19: The Precisions – 50s and 60s
Aug. 26: Exit 47 – Rock and Roll
**Steel Silk Band will perform at 8 p.m. at the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall, 18 Peconic Avenue.
