A Hampton Bays man was charged by Riverhead Town Police with criminal trespass yesterday after he was found in pool house at a Waterview Court residence, according to a police press release.
Police said Matthew Christopher, 26, entered the pool house and remained within it for a number of hours yesterday while the residents were at home.
Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle used a K9 unit to track Christopher from the vehicle to the pool house, where they placed him under arrest and removed him from the premises.
Christopher was charged with criminal trespass in the second degree and held for morning arraignment.
