Northern “Scotty” Scott of Riverhead died on August 11, 2016 at Stony Brook University Hospital. He was 81 years old.
He was born on April 2, 1935.
He was a machine operator in Local 1298. In his spare time, he enjoyed racing.
Predeceased by his sons Marvin and Terrance, he is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his children Keith of Alabama, Paula of Riverhead and Craig of Shirley, eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 18 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A service is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
