Thelma L. Parker of Riverhead died August 29, 2016 in Peconic Bay Medical Center. She was 87 years old.
She was born in Riverhead on May 25, 1929 to Armsted and Louise (Jones) Woodson. She was a homemaker.
Predeceased by her husband Charles in 2012, she is survived by her daughter Debra of Riverhead, her son Charles of Germany, her siblings Carol Philips of Georgia, John Woodson, James Woodson and Geraldine Woodson, all of Riverhead, and one grandchild.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 3 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. September 3 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverhead Cemetery.
