John Dennis Anderson died March 5, 2017. He was 18 years old.
He was born Nov. 21, 1998 to Dennis and Carmel (Doran) Anderson. He was a senior at Riverhead High School, where he was a captain of the varsity football team.
He is survived by his parents and his sister Maria.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 9 at Alexander Tuthill Funeral Home, 6447 Route 25A, Wading River, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral mass will be offered Friday, March 10 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist RC Church in Wading River. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
