Field Two at Stotsky Park will be filled with basket-toting kids on Friday, April 7 as they search for colorful eggs hidden in the grass. The Town Recreation Department will host its annual egg hunt beginning at 6 p.m.

There is a new procedure in place this year for participants of the hunt. Families with children up to age 9 years old will line up together and take part in the hunt in smaller groups.

Egg hunt participants must be in line by 6:30 to be allowed in. Children will be limited to collecting 10 eggs per child.

The egg hunt is open to all children in the community and is free. No registration is required.

There is an estimation contest to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar on the department’s tabletop at the event. Be sure to stop by to take a guess.

In the case of inclement weather, call the Recreation Department’s office at 631-727-5744 ext 30 for information. 2017_0331_Rec_Department_egg_hunt
