An Aquebogue man is facing felony burglary charges after the owner of Fink’s Farm Stand caught him attempting to steal from the farm stand around 4 a.m. this morning, according to a Riverhead Police press release.
After a security alarm was tripped at the Wading River farm stand early this morning, the owner went to check on the property and found a man on the premises in possession of goods he had stolen from the farm stand, according to police.
The owner detained the man while his wife called the police, according to the press release.
Police identified the man as David W. Liss and charged him with burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, police said.
Liss was transported to police headquarters and held for arraignment proceedings.
