The first "Blues Cruise" kicked off to the tunes of Who Are Those Guys Thursday night on the Peconic Riverfront.
Classic car "cruise nights" are planned every Thursday, from 5 pm till dark, on the riverfront throughout the summer. The Riverhead Business Improvement District Management Association, which hosts the event, is sponsoring a weekly concert in conjunction with cruise nights this year — blues, rock and oldies music. Downtown restaurants will be selling food and refreshments at the events. For more information about this and other downtown events, see the BID's website.
