2014 0412 duck egg hunt

The Friends of the Big Duck held their Fourth Annual Big Duck Egg Hunt Saturday morning, which drew dozens of kids and families to the event.

Kids were separated into two age groups for the hunt. Children in each group ran in search of the coveted golden egg for which, if found, they would be rewarded with a basket of goodies.

There was no cost to participate in the egg hunt.

“It’s a giveback to the community,” event organizer Fran Cobb said.
