Riverhead Rotary, aided by Riverhead High School NJROTC cadets and member of the Rotary Interact Club, served up 764 meals during its annual spaghetti lunch and dinner yesterday at Polish Hall.

This year’s menu featured chicken parmagiana and penne pasta with bolognese sauce in addition to the traditional spaghetti and meatballs.  Rotarian Thomas Carson, Farm Country Kitchen owner, managed the menu and the kitchen staffed by Rotary volunteers. Live music was provided by vocalist/guitarist Joey Luongo during the dinner session.

Thaddeus Hill was the lucky winner of a 50-inch Toshiba cloud TV raffled by the clob. The raffle was sponsored by the Elizabeth Hanlon Allstate Insurance Agency and Richmond Realty.

Nancy Reyer had the winning ticket in the 50-50 raffle, good for $368.

The longstanding annual event is a fundraiser for the volunteer service organization, which supports local scholarships and local charities.
