L.I. Aquarium receives accreditation by international marine mammals group
The international Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums has granted accreditation to the L.I. Aquarium, which has been found to meet standards covering a dozen different areas, such as animal husbandry, training, water and environmental quality, education, scientific research, breeding and transportation.
