Two people were sent to the hospital after a Chevrolet Camaro crashed into a large bush on Nadel Drive Wednesday evening.
The bush, located next to the north wall of a house, stopped the vehicle from colliding with the house and caused the airbags to deploy.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation, according to police.
Two Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps rigs responded at approximately 5 p.m. when the incident occurred to transport both victims to Peconic Bay Medical Center.
Injuries were non-life threatening, police said.
