winter weather advisory

The National Weather Service says Long Island and southern Connecticut can expect “moderate snowfall” tomorrow, with snow accumulations of two- to four inches forecast.

The weather service has issued a winter weather advisory for 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. tomorrow.

Snow will develop during the morning rush hour, the weather service said in the advisory, issued this afternoon. Snow will become moderate to locally heavy at times by mid-morning and taper off to snow showers during the start of the afternoon rush, according to the forecast.
