Michael’s Wines and Liquors in Riverhead has a new look, and it’s bigger and brighter then before. Owner Ken Demchak reconfigured the layout of the store, brightened the windows and added an outdoor awning.
The new setup in the nearly 5,000-square-foot store allowed them to increase display space, putting 100 new varieties of wine on the floor.
“If a customer asks us for something, we try to accommodate them and bring it in,” said store manager Joe Rizzo.
Customers are looking for convenience and selection and, “we want to give them what they’re asking for,” Rizzo said.
Michael’s is located at 802 East Main Street and is open everyday, except Christmas and Easter.
