A Northampton woman is charged with of leaving the scene of an accident in Flanders that injured three people, one of them seriously,  at around midnight last night.

Amanda DaCosta, 23, drove her car into a house on Riverside Avenue and struck three people following an argument outside the house late last night, according to police. She then drove off, they said. She was arrested at her her home about four hours later, police said.

One of the injured, a man, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he remains in intensive care, according to authorities.  A second victim was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, police said, while a third refused medical treatment at the scene. 

DaCosta was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, without reporting, a felony. Southampton Police said the incident is still under investigation and the charges could be elevated. 

DaCosta was arraigned in Southampton Town Justice Court this morning and released on $5,000 cash bail.
