After a slow start to the season due to inclement weather, the Riverhead BID’s classic car night on the riverfront is picking up speed.
The weather was perfect for the event this last Thursday evening and hundreds of people gathered on the riverfront to check out the 150 classic cars, some of which date back to the 1920s. There were tailgate BBQs and Joe’s Garage was providing dockside service. Ralph’s Italian Ices was on hand as well for an after-dinner treat.
