A vehicle fire on Route 58 near the Harrison Avenue intersection shut down a portion of the road this morning.

A woman driving a sedan was waiting at the Route 58 and Harrison Avenue stoplight when her vehicle caught fire around 10:45 a.m., according to police on the scene.

She was able to escape the vehicle before it was fully engulfed in flames.
