Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend and 2015 GRAMMY award-winner Darlene Love will be bringing her show to the historic Suffolk Theatre on January 22. She will be performing all her classic hits and new songs from her latest album.
Love has been an integral part of the rock and roll world since the early 1960’s when she sang with The Crystals. Some of their biggest hits included De Doo Ron Ron, And Then He Kissed Me and He’s A Rebel.
At 74, Love continues to captivate audiences worldwide more than half a century later. Her soulful voice has been featured in some of rock and rolls most iconic records, and her remarkable story is featured at the center of the Oscar-winning documentary 20 Feet from Stardom. Darlene recently made history at Providence College by receiving an honorary doctor of music degree and she just released her debut album in produced by her friend Stevie Van Zandt featuring tracks written by Bruce Sprinsteen and Elvis Costello.
