Riverhead Police are investigating thousands of dollars worth of damages to Cherry Creek golf course on Reeves Avenue this weekend.
Someone apparently went joyriding on the golf course in a snowmobile during or after Saturday’s snowfall.
The machine damaged putting greens, sand traps and T-boxes on the golf course, police said.
