Five people were arrested at sobriety checkpoints in Riverhead Town during a Suffolk County East End DWI Task Force enforcement action last night, Riverhead Town Police said in a press release this morning.

Arrested as a result of the enforcement action, according to Riverhead police, were:

Daryl S. Kettrick, 47, of Aquebogue, on a charge of driving while intoxicated;

Margaret R. Harrigan, 25, of Cutchogue, on a charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol;

Henry M. Mills III, 25, of Riverside, on a charge of driving while intoxicated;

Carlos R. Ajcuc-Canel, 23, of Riverhead, on a charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol;

Kamal C. Scott, 25, of Mastic Beach, on a charge of driving while under the influence of drugs and possession of marijuana;

Members of the Riverhead Police Department, New York State Police, Suffolk County Police and Shelter Island Police Department conducted increased enforcement throughout Riverhead town, where several check points were established, police said

Enforcement details such as this one are scheduled to continue throughout the rest of the year as well as into the New Year, according to Riverhead Town Police.
