Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman they say robbed a Riverhead store last month.
Police said the woman depicted in this surveillance video image entered Epic Jeans at Tanger Outlets on December 24 at 6:25 p.m., was leaving the store with North Face clothing and accessories without paying for the items. As she was exiting the store with the merchandise, an employee approached her and she physically struggled with the employee before fleeing to a waiting vehicle, believed to be a pickup truck, according to police.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
