Walter Martin Doroski of Cutchogue died on April 14, 2017. He was 81 years old.
He was born in Greenport on June 14, 1935 to Martin and Vera (Danowski) Doroski.
After graduation from Southold High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Jenco in Deer Park as a mechanic.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, watching hockey and lacrosse, hunting and antique cars. He was a volunteer for Cornell Cooperative Education’s SPAT program.
He is survived by his sister Vera E. Doroski of Riverhead, his daughters Toni Ann Sinning (John Jr.) of Southold, Cindy Corbett (Don) of Clarkesville, Georgia and Deana Kirby (Daniel) of Shoreham, his son Walter J. Doroski Jr. (Wendy) of Centereach, and six grandchildren Jack Sinning, Nicole Witzke and Sarah Sinning; Thomas and Matthew Kirby and John Martin Corbett.
The family will receive visitors on Wenesday, April 19 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Ostrabrama on Thursday, April 20. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
