The Riverhead Central School District is holding an open house type fair to help families of children with disabilities find agencies and organizations to assist them.
The sixth annual “Transition Fair” will feature more than 30 agencies and organizations that can assist families in planning their child’s future through community-based services.
Additionally, presenters will be on hand to discuss guardianship and understanding eligibility and application processes for adult services.
The event is scheduled for Oct.19 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the high school.
