Woman allegedly stole $1,000+ of clothing from Polo store, charged with grand larceny

Riverhead Police have charged a Patchogue woman with grand larceny after she allegedly stole more than $1,000 worth of clothing from Polo at Tanger Outlets in August.

Mellissa Tricoche, 51, allegedly removed $1,099 worth of clothing from Polo on August 25. Following an investigation, Riverhead Police arrested Tricoche Tuesday morning and charged her with grand larceny in the fourth degree.

Tricoche was processed, arraigned and transferred to Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverhead, where she is being held on $2,500 cash bail.
