Anne C. Leikert of Mastic, formerly of Riverhead, died May 22, 2018 at the Kanas Center. She was 73 years old.
She was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on Oct. 18, 1944, the daughter of John and Georgeanna Stratton.
She worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Jame Nursing Home. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
Predeceased by her husband Chester and her daughter Kathleen Baudanza, she is survived by her children, Theresa Denny and Mastic Beach and Michelle Diaz of West Babylon. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Mercado of Hampton Bays and by 10 grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 25 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
