Arthur “Art” Albert Balducci, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died peacefully on July 4, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was 79.
He was born on March 6, 1939, in Hinsdale, Illinois to Albert and Irene Balducci.
He started what would be a life-long career as a small business owner. He married the love of his life, Trudy Jean Fenili, on October 23, 1965.
He called the North Fork home for the past 21 years and was the co-owner of Ivy League Flowers & Gifts in Southold along with his wife and daughter Ginger.
Predeceased by his wife, Trudy, in 2016, he is survived by five children, Tim (Jill) of Decatur, Illinois, Kevin (Peg) of Eureka, Illinois, Randy of Jersey City, New Jersey, Ginger Tomaszewski (Jim) of Southold, and Jeff (Tara) of Ft. Myers, Florida, 10 grandchildren, Kaleigh, Amanda, Jacob, Shane, Michaela, Abigail, Natalie, Maddie, Trent and Trista and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family received visitors on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold, where religious services were officiated by the Reverend Dr. Peter J. Kelley.
Interment will take place in Illinois.
