Riverhead Police are seeking information about the burglary of a home on Great Rock Drive in Wading River.
Police said an unknown suspect broke a rear glass door to gain entry to the home while it was unoccupied. The homeowner called police upon returning to the residence yesterday just before 4 p.m. The burglar removed an unknown amount of cash and jewelry, police said in a press release.
Riverhead Police detectives are investigating. They ask anyone with information about this case ito contact Riverhead Town Police at 631-727-4500 ext. 327. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
