Robert C. Dick of Riverhead died Aug. 22, 2018 at home after a long illness. He was 69 years old.
He was born July 29, 1949 in Mineola to Henry W. and Marjorie O. Dick.
He was a well-known banker in Riverhead and on the East End. He worked for Security National Bank from 1965 to 1980 and then for Suffolk County National Bank from 1980 to 2010 from which he retired as an executive vice president and chief lending officer. He was a longtime Riverhead Rotarian and active in numerous civic affairs.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bette (Thomas) his son Andrew (Allison), two grandsons, Tyler and Cameron, all of Riverhead and his brother William of Cuenca, Ecuador.
Following his wishes, there was no funeral and interment was private. The family requested no memorials.
