Jack Memola of Aquebogue died Dec. 5, 20118. He was 87 years old.

He was born Jan. 1, 1930 in the Bronx to John and Mary Memola.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1957. He was an inspector with the NYS Department of Agriculture. In the 1960s and 1970s, he managed Wildwood Lanes. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to casinos. His family said he loved OTB.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Wells) of Aquebogue, his sons Michael Ruthinoski and John Ruthinoski, his brother James and three grandchildren.
