The Butterfly Effect Project is currently conducting a donation drive. Proceeds from the sale of donated items will benefit programs that help empower young girls.
Clothes, household items, electronics, baby items and more can be brought to the BEP office on the lower level of First Baptist Church of Riverhead, 1018 Northville Turnpike.
The Butterfly Effect Project was founded by Riverhead native Tjuana Fulford in 2014 to give girls from underserved communities an opportunity for positive social interactions and mentorship. It started with just a handful of girls. It has blossomed to serve hundreds of children and has spread its own wings to provide services to assist entire families. It is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt not-for-profit corporation.
