Hallock State Park Preserve will celebrate “I Love My Park Day” Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Two volunteer projects will be offered, available to all ages. Opportunities are also available for groups such as small groups, college groups and community organizations such as Scouts to participate.

Volunteer project 1 will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. and begins with a presentation from the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society, followed by a beach cleanup. Refreshments will be served.

Volunteer project 2 is a self-guided beach cleanup taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All attendees are asked to bring garden gloves, water and sunscreen and check in at the visitor center.
