Excerpts from Riverhead Town Justice Court docket for the month of April 2019. There were a total of 1,817 criminal and traffic cases on the court’s docket. Convictions reported here are misdemeanors or felonies and do not include violations or traffic infractions. Most felony cases are removed to Suffolk County Criminal Court for prosecution and are not included in this report.
Borsella, Christopher, 49, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 2 to two counts of public lewdness (on Oct. 5, 2017 and Aug. 9, 2018) and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to three years probation and fined $500 per conviction.
Cordova-Ruiz, Cristobal, 34, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 8 to aggravated driving while intoxicated on Nov. 18, 2018 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to a conditional discharge and fined $1,500.
Mincelli, Anthony, 37, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 8 to resisting arrest on Aug. 20, 2018 and loitering on Feb. 7, 2010 and was sentenced to 90 days in jail and a fine of $205 for each conviction.
Lawrence, Melissa, 36, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 9 to petit larceny on Sept. 30, 2017 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and a $605 fine.
Jachowdik, Jeremiah, 37, of Holdbrook, pleaded guilty on April 9, to criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree on Sept. 4, 2018 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to 90 days in jail.
Marino, Nicholas, 28, of Selden, pleaded guilty on April 10 to petit larceny on July 11, 2015 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to 20 days in jail and a $205 fine.
Gomez, Vincent, 28, of Hauppauge, pleaded guilty on April 22 to driving while intoxicated (first offense, BAC .08 percent) on April 28, 2016 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to a fine of $240.
Guazhambo-Ortiz, Milton, 30, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 1 to aggravated driving while intoxicated on Feb. 23, 2018 (per se, no prior- BAC .18 percent) and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a conditional discharge and fined $1,400.
Hennessey, Kellie, 24, of Cutchogue, pleaded guilty on April 29 to driving while intoxicated (first offense, BAC .11 percent) on Feb 18, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a $760 fine and a conditional discharge.
Hubbard, Richard, 29, of Shirley, pleaded guilty on April 16 to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree on June 6, 2018 and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to five months in jail and a $205 fine.
Johnson, Annette, 50, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 24 to criminal possession of stolen property on Oct. 15, 2018 and to aggravated unlicensed operation on Dec. 23, 2018 was sentenced by Judge Smith to six months in jail.
Ramirez-Tavera, Jefferson, 30, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 22 to criminal contempt in the second degree (disobey court order) on Feb. 3, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and a fine of $755.
Ruiz-Gusman, Selvin, 34, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 22 to aggravated driving while intoxicated (per se, BAC .20 percent, no prior) on June 13, 2016 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to 30 days in jail and a $1,400 fine.
Simmons, Lane, 52, of Riverhead, pleaded guilty on April 15 to criminal contempt in the second degree on Oct. 7, 2017 (disobey court order) and was sentenced by Judge Hulse tp a conditional discharge and a fine of $205.
Tamburo, Daniel, 23, of Bay Shore, pleaded guilty on April 23 to possession of a forged instrument in the second degree on July 16, 2018, and was sentenced by Judge Smith to time served and a $255 fine.
