Excerpts from Riverhead Town Justice Court docket for the month of May 2019. There were a total of 1,478 criminal and traffic cases on the court’s docket. Convictions reported here are a result of charges of misdemeanors or felonies. Most felony cases are removed to Suffolk County Criminal Court for prosecution and are not included in this report.

Abbate, Arlene, 56, of Riverhead, charged on Dec. 1, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 6 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Allen, Nickomas, 31, of Riverhead, charged on Aug. 5, 2018 with criminal obstruction of breathing and harassment in the second degree, pleaded guilty on May 29, 2019 and was sentenced to 15 days in jail.

Almonte, Crystal, 29, charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, pleaded guilty on May 13, to petit larceny and was sentenced to five months in jail by Judge Hulse.

Alvarado-Torres, Edgar, 30, of Riverhead, charged on Dec. 20, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 14 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Hulse.

Anderson, Gerard, 53, of Hampton Bays, charged on May 17, 2017 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, harassment and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on May 28 to driving while intoxicated, harassment and speeding, and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to three years probation and fined $1,990.

Andruszkiewicz, Darius, 58, of Riverhead, charged on May 3, 2019 with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and harassment in the second degree, pleaded guilty on May 28 to disorderly conduct and was fined $250 by Judge Hulse.

Bonilla-Perez, Raul, 29, of Flanders, charged on May 5, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, pleaded guilty on May 7 to aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and was fined $400 by Judge Smith.

Braile, William, 61, of Port Jefferson, charged on June 10, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and multiple traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on May 14 to speeding and was fined $290 by Judge Hulse.

Brewer, Justin, 25, of Sound Beach, charged on Dec. 15, 2018 with DWI, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and unlawful possession of marijuana, pleaded guilty on May 14 to DWI and was sentenced to a conditional discharge and fined $1,000 by Judge Hulse.

Brezinski, Caron, 47, of Calverton, charged on Sept. 13, 2018 with aggravated DWI per se, refusal to take breath test and other traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on May 1 to aggravated DWI and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to probation and a $2,000 fine.

Carretillo-Fuentes, Emmanuel, 32, of Riverhead, charged on Feb. 9, 2019 with DWI and aggravatedinlciences operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 7 to driving while ability impaired and facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation an was fined $1,070 by Judge Smith.

Chocon-Zurdo, Julio, 46, of Riverhead, charged on June 16, 2018 with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation, pleaded guilty on May 21 to aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation and was sentenced by Judge Smith to time served and fines of $1,793.

Conklin, Kyle, 59, of Wading River, charged on July 29, 2018 with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take breath test, pleaded guilty on May 28 to driving while ability impaired and was sentenced to a conditional discharge and 80 hours of community service.

Cordova-Garcia, Ronal, 31, of Riverhead, charged on Dec. 2, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 7 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Cotzojay, Israel, 40, charged with DWI, pleaded guilty and was fined $1,400 by Judge Hulse.

DiBenedetto, Jonathan, 30, of Medford, charged on Jan. 8, 2018 and on March 6, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree pleaded guilty to two counts of facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $630 by Judge Smith.

DeCarlo, Christopher, 31, of Hampton Bays, charged on May 1,2018 with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty on May 14 to disorderly conduct and was fined $300 by Judge Hulse.

Delcid-Ramirez, Hector, 47, of Flanders, charged on Sept. 22, 2018 with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, pleaded guilty on May 20 to aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and driving while intoxicated and was sentenced by Judge smith to three years probation and fines and surcharges totaling $1,800.

Escobar-Montenegro, Tonino, 29, charged on Jan. 26, 2019 with aggravated driving while intoxicated pleaded guilty on May 20 to driving while intoxicated and was fined $1,000 by Judge Smith.

Felipe-Yojero, Oscar, 29, of Riverhead, charged on Jan. 21, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 6 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Fontana, Timothy, 24, of Calverton, charged on Sept. 10, 2017 with criminal obstruction of breathing and on Dec. 15, 2017 with criminal contempt pleaded guilty on May 22 to disorderly conduct and was fined $250 by Judge Smith.

Fountaine, Patrick, 37, of Riverhead, charge on Jan. 18 with nine counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree (credit card), one count of criminal trespass in the second degree and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana, pleaded guilty on May 14 to three counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and one count of criminal trespass in the second degree and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to six months in jail and NYS surcharges totaling $1,025.

Haag, Alexis, 27, of Lake Grove, charged on April 11, 2017 and Nov. 24, 2017 with petit larceny pleaded guilty ib Nay 7 and was sentenced to three years probation and fined $455 by Judge Smith.

Harris, Jaquan, 29, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was charged on Aug. 30, 2019 with violating probation, and was sentenced by Judge Hulse on May 14 to 30 days in jail.

Hussain, Asif, 37, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, charged on Oct. 16, 2018 with rape in the third degree pleaded guilty on May 28 to disorderly conduct and was fined $250 by Judge Hulse.

Ireland, Jeffrey, 27, of Riverhead, charged on Nov. 11, 2016 with aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while using a portable electronic device, pleaded guilty on May 29 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal and was fined by $480 by Judge Hulse.

Jones, Ralph, 53, charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 13 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Hulse.

Kelly, Tremel, 26, of Riverhead, charged on Jan. 15, 2019 with grand larceny in the fourth degree, criminal mischief in the second degree and attempted criminal obstruction of breathing, pleaded guilty on May 20 before Judge Smith. Sentencing information was not provided.

Kimble, Demetrius, 24, of Wading River, charged on Sept. 8, 2018 with criminal contempt in the second degree, pleaded guilty on May 20 and was fined $350 by Judge Smith.

Lagalante, Anthony, 39, of Riverhead, charged on April 13, 2019 with petit larceny, pleaded guilty on May 21 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to 90 days in jail.

Leon-Garcia, Engell, 22, charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and other vehicle and traffic law violations, pleaded guilty on May 13 and was sentenced to 90 days in jail by Judge Smith.

Loy, Robert III, 48, of Mastic, charged on Oct. 25, 2016 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, unlawful possession of marijuana and multiple vehicle and traffic violations, pleaded guilty on May 20 and was fined $535 by Judge Smith.

Madaia, Robert, 31, of Ridge, charged on May 23, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree pleaded guilty on May 28 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $400 by Judge Hulse.

Meyer, Gregory, 27, of Calverton, charged with DWI, pleaded guilty on May 13 to driving while ability impaired and was fined $760 by Judge Hulse

Minter, Tyshaun, 21, charged on Jan. 9, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 7 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and operating with a suspended registration and was fined $480 by Judge Smith.

Nana, Fu, 37, of Flushing, Queens, charged on Nov. 5, 2018 with unlicensed practice of a profession and prostitution, received an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal from Judge Smith on May 20.

Patterson, Ian, 24, of Bellport, charged on Jan. 6, 2019 with DWI, pleaded guilty on May 7 to driving while ability impaired and was find $560 by Judge Smith.

Pierzchanowksi, Trinity, 21, of Wading River, charged on March 19, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 6 to operaring a motor vehicle without an expired inspection and was fined $140 by Judge Smith.

Pineda-Ordonez, Karina Thalia, 23, of Shirley, charged on Feb. 13, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 7 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding and was fined $550 by Judge Smith.

Quel-Cubule, Hector, 28, charged with aggravated DWI per se pleaded guilty on May 13 and was sentenced to three years probation and fined $2,890 by Judge Hulse.

Robinson, Wally, 28, of Middle Island, charged on Dec. 12, 2017 with DWI, pleaded guilty on May 6 to driving while ability impaired and was fined $760 by Judge Smith.

Rodriguez-Deleon, Meris, 41, of Brooklyn,charged on April 24, 2019 with petit larceny, pleaded guilty on May 8 and was sentenced to a conditional discharge and a fine of $500 by Judge Smith.

Salter, Lisa, 31, of Riverhead, charged on Jan. 31, 2019 with grand larceny in the fourth degree (credit card) pleaded guilty as charged on May 7 and was sentenced to three years probation by Judge Smith.

Sen, Mustafa, 59, of Riverhead, charged on March 30, 2019 with driving while intoxicated, pleaded guilty on May 29, to driving while ability impaired and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a conditional discharge and 80 hours of community service and fined $750.

Tacuri, Angel, 48, of Patchogue, charged March 4, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and other traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on May 21 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Weng, Yang, 40, of of Flushing, Queens, charged on Nov. 5, 2018 with unlicensed practice of a profession, received an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal from Judge Smith on May 20.

West, Taylor, 26, of Cutchogue, charged on Jan. 9, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 7 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Wilkins, Tara, 21, charged with with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on May 13 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Hulse.

Wise, Delmus, 44, charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal contempt in the second degree and criminal mischief, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 364 days in jail by Judge Hulse.

Xuya-Zurdo, Daniel, 32, of Riverhead, charged on March 3, 2019 with petit larceny, pleaded guilty on May 28 to disorderly conduct and was fined $250 by Judge Hulse.

Zambrano-Funez, Alma, 27, charged with criminal contempt in the first degree and harassment in the second degree, pleaded guilty on May 13 and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
