Kroemer Avenue will be closed to all but local traffic today as Riverhead Highway Department crews install drainage structures in the roadway.
The work is getting underway now, Riverhead Highway Superintendent George Woodson said this morning.
Woodson said the highway department is installing drainage rings in the road to deal with a flooding problem.
