Riverhead Justice Court Report

Excerpts of convictions in Riverhead Justice Court docket during the month of June 2019.

There were a total of 1,654 criminal and traffic cases on the court’s docket. Convictions reported here are a result of charges of misdemeanors or felonies. Felony charges are often removed to Suffolk County Criminal Court and are reported here when marked off the justice court calendar if a conviction has been entered in the superior court.

Ambrosio, Andrea, 20, no address provided, arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and pleaded guilty on June 11, 2019 to driving while ability impaired and was fined $750 by Judge Hulse.

Auricchio, Christopher, 30, of Holbrook, arrested March 20, 2019 on a charge of theft of services, pleaded guilty on June 18, 2019 and was fined $375 by Judge Smith.

Ayers, Anna, 66, of Riverhead, charged on May 7, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and driving while using a mobile phone, pleaded guilty on June 18, 2019 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and turning without signaling and was fined $480 by Judge Smith.

Baskin, Andre, 43, of Riverhead, arrested on Jan. 9, 2018 on a charge of driving while impaired by drugs in the first degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, pleaded guilty on June 24, 2019 to driving while impaired by drugs and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a conditional discharge and fined $1,400.

Belcher, Marcus, 27, of Riverhead, arrested on Aug. 19, 2018 on a charge of driving while intoxicated and traffic infractions pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired on June 10, 2019 and was fined $760 and ordered to use an interlock device by Judge Hulse.

Bonilla-Villalba, Enrique, 28, of Riverhead, arrested Dec. 25, 2018 on a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated, pleaded guilty on June 12, 2019 and was sentenced to a conditional discharge, ordered to use an interlock device and fined $1,700 by Judge Hulse.

Bush, Derrick, 38, of Riverhead arrested on Aug. 10, 2017 on a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated on June 4, 2019 and was sentenced to a conditional discharge, three years probation and fined $900.

Campbell, Darius, 30, of Westhampton Beach, was charged on April 15, 2019 with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and trespass, pleaded guilty on June 26, 2019 to disorderly conduct and was fined $250 by Judge Smith.

Campbell, Richard III, 23, of Ridge, arrested on April 3, 2015 on charges of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, possession of marijuana and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on June 5, 2019 and was fined $900 by Judge Smith.

Chang, Nicole, 35, of Kissemmee, Florida, arrested on June 17, 2019 on a charge of petit larceny, pleaded guilty on June 25, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to time served.

Cortez, Marvin, 30, no address provided, arrested on a charge of harassment in the second degree/physical contact, pleaded guilty on June 11, 2019 and was fined $250 by Judge Hulse.

Cronin-Lester, Cathy, 50, arrested on Aug. 10, 2018 on four counts of violation of probation, pleaded guilty on June 18, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to 60 days in jail.

Danny, Shelly, 26, of Riverhead, arrested Nov. 8, 2017 on charges of reckless endangerment in the second degree, menacing in the second degree and harassment in the second degree, pleaded guilty on June 18, 2019 to disorderly conduct and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation.

DeSilva, Jermaine, 44, of Riverhead, charged on March 27, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on June 4, 2019 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $480 by Judge Smith.

Elizalde, Diego, 17, of Riverhead, arrested on March 6, 2019 on charges of possession of a false instrument in the second degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, unlawful possession of marijuana and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and speeding and was fined $540 by Judge Smith.

Escalante, Oscar, 27, of Riverhead, charged on Jan. 10, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation, pleaded guilty on June 5, 2019 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Evans, Sundiata, 25, of Amityville, arrested on Sept. 28, 2018 on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, escape in the the third degree and possession of an open alcohol container, pleaded guilty on June 24, 2019 to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to 90 days in jail.

Fulami, Muhammed, 52, of Riverhead, arrested on May 14, 2019 on charges of petit larceny and trespass, pleaded guilty on June 25, 2019 to petit larceny and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to time served and fined $205. Other charges dismissed.

Gomez, Roberto, 33, of Port Jefferson, arrested on July 5, 2018 on a charge of petit larceny pleaded guilty on June 4, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to 45 days in jail and a $205 surcharge.

Griffin, Stanley, 39, of Riverhead, arrested on March 12, 2018 on a charge of grand larceny in the fourth degree, pleaded guilty on June 10, 2019 to petit larceny and was sentenced to a conditional discharge by Judge Hulse.

Hedgebeth, Lucretia, 49, of Riverhead, charged on May 20, 2016 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $510 by Judge Smith.

Jones, Edward, 46, of Shirley, arrested on Jan. 7, 2019 on charges of driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and traffic infractions, and pleaded guilty on June 4, 2019 to driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and fined $1,493.

Jones, Edward, 46, of Shirley, arrested on April 2, 2017 on a charge of criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree, pleaded guilty on June 4, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation (concurrent) and fined $255.

Laino, Richard, 53, of Selden, charged on Feb. 26, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation, pleaded guilty on June 24, 2019 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $93 by Judge Hulse.

Lincoln, Robert, 65, of Upton, charged on April 18, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and speeding, pleaded guilty on June 18, 2019 to an equipment violation and was fined $210 by Judge Smith.

Mejia-Ayala, Fermin, 28, of Riverhead, arrested on Aug. 17, 2018 on a charge of driving while intoxicated, pleaded guilty on June 10, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a conditional discharge and a fine of $790.

Moffatt, Christian, 44, of Flushing, charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on June 25, 2019 to to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Hulse.

Nowack, James, pleaded guilty on June 12, 2019 to petit larceny and was sentence to 30 days in Jail.

O’Ferrall, Michael, 37, of Riverhead, arrested Feb. 26, 2019 on a charge of criminal contempt in the first degree, pleaded guilty on June 11, 2019 and was sentenced to three years probation by Judge Hulse.

Orrego-Cuellar, Alex, 29, of Riverhead, charged on April 7, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on June 12, 2019 to to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Hulse.

Patzan-Gomez, Rosalio, 31, of Riverhead, charged on Dec.14, 2018 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on June 10, 2019 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and using a mobile phone while driving and was fined $480 by Judge Hulse.

Parker, Carolyn, 46, of Riverhead, charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, on Aug. 26, 2018 and Oct. 17, 2018, pleaded guilty on June 26, 2019 to two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and was fined $586 by Judge Smith.

Pelis, Kevin, 42, of Calverton, charged on June 1, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty on June 26, 2019 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Puckert, Christopher, 29, of Kings Park, arrested on Octr. 11, 2017 on charges of resisting arrest, obstructing government administration, and open alcohol container, pleaded guilty on June 12, 2019 to disorderly conduct and was fined $125 by Judge Hulse.

Pumillo, Sibel, 30, arrested on Aug. 28 and Aug. 29, 2018 on charges of petit larceny and on Aug. 29 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, pleaded guilty on June 12, 2019 was sentenced by Judge Hulse to five months in jail and a fine of $968.

Schrang, Brian, 47, of Naples, Florida, arrested on Sept. 14, 2017 on charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, pleaded guilty on June 25, 2019 to petit larceny and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to 30 days in jail and fined $300. Other charges dismissed.

Serafico, Jason, 19, of Riverhead, arrested Nov. 4, 2017 on a charge of assault in the second degree/physical contact, pleaded guilty on June 11, 2019 and was sentenced to a conditional discharge with interim probation by Judge Hulse.

Soto-Pelaez, Yehinson, 22, no address provided, arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated, pleaded guilty on June 11, 2019 to driving while ability impaired and unlicensed operation and was sentenced to a conditional discharge and fined $1,150 by Judge Hulse.

Stovall, Donna, 54, of Riverhead, arrested Nov. 23, 2017 on a charge of criminal contempt in the second degree/disobey a court order, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct on June 10, 2019 and was fined $375 by Judger Hulse.

Strand, Aleesha, 25, of Mastic Beach, arrested on Aug. 24, 2018 on charges of menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal facilitation and petit larceny, and on Oct. 14, 2018 of petit larceny and on Feb. 9, 2019 of disorderly conduct, pleaded guilty on June 18, 2019 to menacing and criminal possession of a weapon and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and fined $255. Other charges were dismissed.

Taylor, Derry, 67, of Ridge, arrested on June 6, 2018 on a charge of driving while intoxicated after an MVA, refusal to take breath test and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on June 3, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to a conditional discharge, three years probation and fined $1,500.

Toney, Hardiway, 69, no address provided, arrested on charges of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and criminal possession of an anti-security item, and pleaded guilty to possession of an anti-security item on June 11, 2019 and was sentenced to time served.

Yetti, Paul, 36, of Wading River, charged on Feb. 15, 2019 with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and multiple traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on June 4, 2019 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding was fined $550 by Judge Smith.

Zukowski, Ryan, 19, arrested on March 2, 2018 on charges of criminal contempt, criminal trespass and harassment, on Feb. 22, 2019 on a charge of harassment, on March 26, 2019 on a charge of criminal contempt, pleaded guilty on June 18, 2019 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and a fine of $710. Other pending charges were dismissed.

Cases marked off the Riverhead Justice Court calendar this month due to indictment in county or federal court, where convictions have already been entered:

Beltran, Delmi, 34, of Riverhead, arrested on Oct. 5, 2018 pleaded guilty on March 3, 2019 to felony unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated, was sentenced to five years probation.

Dunn, John, 56, of Riverhead, arrested on Dec. 13, 2018 on a charge of grand larceny in the second degree, pleaded guilty on March 21, 2019 and awaits sentencing.

Guida, Nicole, 24, of Mount Sinai, arrested Oct. 31, 2018,on a charge of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, pleaded guilty on May 1, 2019 to possession of a forged instrument in the third degree and awaits sentencing.

Pray, Lonnie, 58, of Riverhead, arrested Dec. 11, 2018 on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic, criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell, pleaded guilty on April 3, 2019 to criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and awaits sentencing.

Rosenblum, Melanie, 27, of Hempstead, arrested Oct. 8, 2019 on charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance pleaded guilty on June 3, 2019 to grand larceny in the fourth degree and awaits sentencing.
