Excerpts from Riverhead Town Justice Court docket for the month of July 2019.

There were a total of 1,564 criminal and traffic cases on the court’s docket. Convictions reported here are a result of charges of misdemeanors or felonies. Felony charges are often removed to Suffolk County Criminal Court and are reported here when marked off the justice court calendar if a conviction has been entered in the superior court. Court was not in regular session during the week of July 29.

Ajcuc-Tocay, Isabel, 43, of Riverhead, arrested on April 24, April 10 and Jan. 7 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 8 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation and was fined $910 by Judge Hulse.

Amentler, James, 49, of Islip, arrested on Nov. 21, 2018 on a charge go petit larceny, pleaded guilty and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and fined $505

Azama-Lopez, Reinaldo, 43, of Greenport, arrested on March 1 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 8 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and operating an unregistered vehicle, and was fined $480 by Judge Hulse.

Burkart, Jared, 20, of Wading River, arrested on July 11, 2018 on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of a forged instrument in the third degree and a traffic infraction, pleaded guilty on July 24 to a charge of driving while ability impaired and was fined $769 by Judge Hulse.

Calderon, Maria, 24, of Hampton Bays, arrested on March 21 on on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and an infraction, pleaded guilty on July 17 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Chamale-Suruy, Julio, 25, of Riverhead, arrested on Oct. 5, 2018 on a charge of criminal contempt in the second degree, pleaded guilty on July 16 before Judge Smith and is scheduled to return to court for sentencing on Oct. 8.

Chance, Thomas, 43, of Riverhead, arrested on Sept. 26, 2018 on a charge of petit larceny, pleaded guilty on July 3 and was fined $250 by Judge Smith.

Cronin, Kevin, 59, of Montauk, arrested April 19, 2018 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation and refusal to take a breath test, pleaded guilty and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a one year conditional discharge.

Cruz, Edgar, 35, of Flanders, arrested on Nov. 12, 2018 on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and false personation, pleaded guilty on July 1 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to six months in jail.

Delos, Karl, 57, of Hampton Bays, arrested on June 1, 2018 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and a infraction, pleaded guilty on July 24 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation and was fined $450 by Judge Hulse.

Edler, Thomas, 25, arrested on Feb. 3 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and a traffic infraction, pleaded guilty on July 24 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Estrada, George, 26, of East Quogue, arrested on Dec. 7, 2018 on charges of criminal purchase/disposal of a weapon, offering a false instrument in the second degree and criminal contempt in the second degree, pleaded guilty on July 10 to criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. Sentencing information was not provided by the court.

Galonsky, Seth, 48, of Coram, arrested on Dec. 31, 2018 on a charge of driving while ability impaired by alcohol and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 15 to speeding and was fined $240 by Judge Smith.

Garcia, Gilberto, 53, of Riverhead, arrested on Feb. 23 on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 15 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Hackal, Shaun, 36, of Riverhead, arrested on June 1, 2018 on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $500 by Judge Hulse.

Leary, Derek, 53, arrested on May 15 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and a traffic infraction, pleaded guilty on July 17 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation and was fined $310 by Judge Smith.

Lindstadt, Willis, 25, of East Northport, arrested July 28, 2018 on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle with property damage, pleaded guilty on July 3 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and fined $1,200.

Lopez, Esteban, 30, of Medford, arrested on May 6 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and a traffic infraction, pleaded guilty on July 16 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation and was fined $520 by Judge Smith.

McCarthy, Sean, 42, of Shelter Island, arrested on July 31, 2018 on charges of assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree, pleaded guilty on July 9 to harassment in the second degree (physical contact) and was fined $250 by Judge Hulse.

Miguel-Lopez, Santos Arnoldo, 27, of Riverhead, arrested on Jan. 27 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation and was fined $520 by Judge Smith.

Nunez-Mejia, Eduardo Josue, 28, of Riverhead, arrested on June 6 on a charge of driving while ability impaired by alcohol and unlicensed operation, pleaded guilty on July 8 to speeding and was fined $630 by Judge Hulse.

Pedro-Simon, Cupertino, 31, of Riverhead, arrested on Feb. 22 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 1 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and a fine of $500.

Perez-Agron, Jose, 35 of Patchogue, arrested on March 19 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and a infraction, pleaded guilty on July 23 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation and was fined $410 by Judge Hulse.

Ramos-Gregorio, Wilmer, 26, of Riverhead, arrested on March 3 on charges of driving while intoxicated and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 22 to driving while intoxicated and is scheduled to return to court for sentencing on Sept. 16.

Robert, Startrease, 33, of Coram, arrested on Jan. 2 , 2018 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and a traffic infraction, pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $310 by Judge Hulse.

Sanchez-Espino, Eleeam, 19, of Riverside, arrested on Jan. 14, 2018 on charges of criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, grand larceny in the third degree, fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, reckless driving and multiple traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 2 to petit larceny and was sentenced by Judge Smith to three years probation and fined $750.

Scanlon, Donald, 61, of Mastic, arrested on June 1, 2018 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 24 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and operating an unregistered vehicle and was fined $380 by Judge Hulse.

Seay, Bryant, 56, of Riverhead, arrested on April 3, 2017 on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and on Sept. 30, 2017 on a charge of unlicensed operation, pleaded guilty on July 10 to aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. Sentencing information was not provided by the court.

Smith, Sean, 23, of Yaphank, arrested on March 24 on charges of forgery in the third degree, and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 15 to disorderly conduct, operating an unregistered vehicle and improper plates and was fined $470 by Judge Smith.

Stephens, Thomas, 20, of Mattituck, arrested on Jan. 31 on a charge of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, pleaded guilty on July 17 to disorderly conduct and was fined $300 by Judge Smith.

Torres, Jose, 19, of Riverhead, arrested on Feb. 22 on charges of obstruction government administration and resisting arrest, pleaded guilty on July 1 and was sentenced by Judge Smith to 30 days in jail and fined $255.

Walker, Nancy, 69, of Riverhead, arrested on Sept. 1, 2018 on charges of driving while intoxicated and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 22 to driving while intoxicated and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a one-year conditional discharge and fined $1,400.

Walker, Robert, 45, of Patchogue, arrested on Jan. 27 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 16 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $300 by Judge Smith.

White, Michael, 27, of Hampton Bays, arrested on July 25, 2016 on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal trespass in the second degree, pleaded guilty on July 23 to criminal trespass in the second degree and was sentenced by Judge Hulse to a conditional discharge.

Williams, Christina, 40, of Shoreham, arrested on May 1, 2018 on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and traffic infractions, pleaded guilty on July 1 to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while using a portable electronic device and was fined $480 by Judge Smith.

Dispositions in Suffolk County Criminal Court:

Shanequa R. Cunningham, arrested on Nov. 18, 2018 on aggravated driving while intoxicated and other charges, pleaded guilty in Suffolk County Criminal Court to two counts of aggravated DWI with a child passenger and four counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child and was sentenced on July 25 to five years probation and ordered to pay fines and fees of $1,570, restitution of $4,145 and had her driver’s license revoked for one year.
