Riverhead Councilwoman Jodi Giglio is seeking the Republican party’s nomination for state office in 2020. She is on a GOP ‘short list’ of candidates for the First Senate District seat held since 1977 by Sen. Ken LaValle, who said this week he will not seek re-election in 2020.
