Gov. Andrew Cuomo today announced plans to increase hospital capacity in the region of the state most affected by the coronavirus disease. He reported another 44% increase in confirmed cases in Suffolk, where there have been two more COVID-19-related deaths, including another resident at Peconic Landing.
