Learn more about vaccinations, how they are made, their importance and how they affect the population en whole on Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 12 p.m. via Facebook livestream or YouTube Live.

The panelists will discuss vaccinations against illnesses such as the COVID-19, HPV, influenza, Tdap, meningitis and more. The Facebook Livestream or YouTube Live will be available the day of the stream.

The event will be moderated by Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Dean for Research at the Renaissance School of Medicine and Stony Brook University & Chief of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Sharon Nachman. The panel of experts include Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Renaissance School of Medicine and SBU and Medical Director of Ambulatory Primary Care Pediatrics Jill Cioffi and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Renaissance School of Medicine and SBU and Primary Care Pediatrics Lauren Ng.
