The Riverhead Anti-Bias Task Force is seeking five individuals or a group of artists to volunteer and create a painting that represents the themes of empathy, understanding and unity during the 25th annual Riverhead Mosaic Street Painting Festival on Sunday, Sept. 5 from 12 to 5 p.m. — rain date of Monday, Sept. 6.

The artwork should be designed to fill a 4′ by 6′ square and inspired by the missions of ABTF to “unify our community by understanding our differences while recognizing our similarities.” The artists can be a group of individuals, family members or an existing group or team. Interested people can submit an idea either by illustration or written description as well as their contact information to [email protected]

The Riverhead Mosaic Street Painting Festival will be hosted by East End Arts and held in the center of Riverhead downtown.
