Etta R. Ross of Riverhead died on Sept. 21, 2021. She was 82 years old.
She was born on Oct. 22, 1938 in Riverhead to Joe and Carrie (Aldridge) Moore. She worked as a supervisor at Strebels Laundry. Her hobbies were her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Mal Clyde. She is survived by her children Lucinda of Bayshore, Melvina Carroll of Riverhead, Clyde of Riverhead, Ella of Riverhead, Mary of Riverhead, Michael of Queens and Kenecia Ross Lambert of North Carolina, ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and siblings Harry Moore of North Carolina and Gloria Spencer of North Carolina.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Riverhead Cemetery.
