Give the gift of life this holiday season on Friday, Dec. 17 from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Tanger Outlets Center Suite 1704 hosted by Senator Anthony Palumbo.

“The New York Blood Center continues to face dangerously low blood levels,” said Palumbo. “While donations tend to be lower during the winter months, the critical shortages have been further exacerbated by the challenges brought on by COVID-19. I’d encourage anyone who is able to, to donate.”

Appointments are encouraged and can be made online at the New York Blood Center website or by calling 1(800)933-2566.

Donors are required to wear a face mask or covering, have their temperatures taken and attest to being symptom-free for at least 14 days. People cannot donate if they have symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive or are under a self-quarantine restriction.

For any questions, contact Palumbo’s District Office at (631)473-1461 or via email at [email protected]
