Riverhead Police are seeking the public’s help in locating Angelica Ortiz-Cano, 13, who left her home on Lewis Street in Riverhead at about 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, according to a police press release issued Tuesday evening.
Angelica is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with a thin build, light complexion, brown eyes and brown straight hair, police said. No clothing description was provided by the family, according to the press release.
No foul play is suspected, police said.
Angelica is known to frequent the Flanders area, police said. Anyone with information in regard to the child’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at (631)727-4500. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
