Southampton Town Police are seeking information on a vehicle that fled the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 at approximately 6:28 p.m. in the vicinity of Flanders Road and Old Quogue Road.

The vehicle in question is a box-style Jeep Cherokee, gray in color. The vehicle would have sustained front end damage, police said in a press release today.

Anyone with information should contact Southampton Town Police Detective Division at 631- 702-2230.

The victim, David Humberto-Amaya, 33, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he later died of his injuries, police said.
