A Riverside man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Route 105 and Flanders Road early this morning, when he was found in possession of heroin and cocaine, according to a Southampton Police press release.
Police said Warren Lamb, 62, was arrested on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (scales) in the Second Degree and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (package) in the Second Degree.
Lamb was stopped by police in his vehicle for a traffic offense on Route 105 at Flanders Road at about 12:30 a.m., according to police.
During the investigation, Lamb was found to possess cocaine and heroin on his person and additional quantities of cocaine in his vehicle, police said..
Lamb was arrested and transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held for a morning arraignment., police said.
